Policies for Visitors
Please review the below visitor policies before your visit and check www.figgeartmuseum.org for updates and detailed guidelines for visitors:
- Arrive and enter through the Figge's 2nd Street Entrance off the Bechtel Plaza.
- Check in at the Visitors Service desk. If you purchased or reserved tickets in advance, all you need is your name for access.
- Children under 12 must stay with parent(s) or guardian(s) at all times.
- Bags and purses must
be no larger than 10”x10”x5.5”. There will be
a box at Visitors Services to confirm the size of your bag.
- Backpacks,
backpack-purses, and oversize bags are not allowed in the galleries and must be
checked at the complimentary Check Room near the Figge’s Main Entrance. Exceptions
are made for medical devices and supplies (medical backpacks may be carried in
front of you or by your side). Diaper bags must be stored in a stroller or in a
locker. Backpack baby carriers are not allowed.
- The Figge has a coat
room with lockers located to the left of the main entrance In the Grand Lobby.
Lockers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Photography and
videography for personal, noncommercial use is allowed inside and outside of
the Figge unless otherwise noted through signage. Personal use includes
personal cameras, cell phones, tablets, and other non-commercial
devices. The use of flash, lights, tripods, and selfie-sticks are
prohibited. The following
restrictions apply:
- Special
event and occasion photography, such as weddings, proms, senior portraits,
and family portraits are strictly prohibited. For private events held
at the Figge, photography is allowed and is subject to the photography
policies set forth in the rental agreement.
- Visitors
will be asked to stop taking photos if they cause a disruption of the
museum experience for other visitors, staff, or students.
